RACERS/CRUISERS:

SMWYC is sponsoring a race start clinic, regardless of yacht club affiliation or lack thereof. Classroom discussion on a chalk board at 10:00 SHARP. Leave to go on the water around noon with repeated five-minute starting sequences. Post clinic discussion at the club around 4:00. Topics will be informative for sailors no matter the type or size of boat they race.

If you have any interest in learning more about racing, especially the critical start line, this FREE clinic is for you. We will put experienced mentors on your boat, or you can crew for someone else.

If you have plenty of experience and went to be a mentor on someone else's boat, we NEED you.

We're also looking for members to work the Race Committee boat. If you ever thought of going out on the RC boat to see what it's all about, this is a great opportunity to see most of the operation in just a couple of hours.

Chili will be available at SMWYC around 4:00 for $5.00.
